R-10196 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />AUTHORIZING THE REPROGRAMMING OF COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT(CDBG)FUNDS FROM THE CDBG <br />CONTINGENCY ACCOUNT TO THE PROJECT, "SENIOR MINOR <br />HOME REPAIR PROGRAM. " <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton has determined the <br />need to provide minor home repair services to its senior citizens; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has identified that the Steelworkers Oldtimers <br />Foundation currently operates a Senior Minor Home Repair Program and that <br />the proposed project can best be accomplished by allocating Community <br />Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds; and <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to inform the San Bernardino County <br />Department of Economic and Community Development as to the request to <br />transfer funds from the Contingency Account to the project, "Senior Minor <br />Home Repair Program." <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the <br />City of Colton reprograms Community Development Block Grant funds in the <br />following manner: <br />1. Colton Contingency Account (transfer from) <br />$5,000 <br />2. Senior Minor Home Repair Program(transfer to) $5,000 <br />1996.
