CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF APRIL 15,1997 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR & CITY COUNCIL <br />APPROVAL: MALIK DANTALA FREEMAN, CITY MANAGER <br />FROM: GRACIE FERNANDEZ HARMON, PERSONNEL DIRECTO r <br />SUBJECT: RATIFICATION OF EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT TO THE FULL-TEVIE <br />POSITION OF POLICE DISPATCHER I IN THE POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT <br />DATE: MARCH 10, 1997 <br />BACKGROUND: There is one (1) Police Dispatcher I position vacant in the Police Department. <br />Attached is the job description for the classification; salary range is $1,748 - $2,126 per month. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: Recruitment for said position was conducted and an eligibility list was <br />established. The candidate being referred for Council ratification meets the education and experience <br />requirements as specified in the job description. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: None. <br />FUNDING AVAILABILITY: This is an approved grant funded position in the fiscal year 1996-97 <br />budget funded as follows: Account No. 100-6070-6086-1010 (salary) and Account No. 100-6070- <br />6086-1100 (Wary related benefits). <br />Bernard O.
