Freeman, City Manager From: Randy Anstine, Neighborhood Services Director Subject: Ratification of Employee Appointment to the Full -Time Position of Neighborhood Services Coordinator in the Neighborhood Services Department Date: April 2, 1997 BACKGROUND: There presently exists one (1) vacant full-time Neighborhood Services Coordinator position in the Neighborhood Services Department. Attached is the job description for the classification; the salary range is $2,049 - $2,490 per month. DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: Recruitment for said position was conducted. Oral examinations were held and an eligibility list established. The candidate being referred for Council ratification meet the education and experience requirements as specified in the job description. FUNDING AVAILABILITY: This is a general fund position(s). The position(s) is funded for the 1996-97 fiscal year as follows: Account No. 100-6200-6202-1010 (salary) and Account No. 100-6200-6202- 1100 salary related be ) Randy Anstine, irector MISSION CRITICAL: This position is needed to assist with supervising senior citizens programs; youth and teen programs and activities; youth and adult recreation programs; coordination of activities with Colton School District; Coordinate programs with community groups and organizations. RECOMMENDATION: That the City Council ratify the employee appointment to the full-time position of Neighborhood Services Coordinator as recommended by the Neighborhood Services Director.
