0 <br />CITY OF`COLTON <br />Neighborhood Services Coordinator (Continued) <br />Page 2 <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - continued <br />Assist in division budget development and administration. <br />Prepare oral and written reports and maintain appropriate records. <br />Provide youth and family counseling services for delinquent, high <br />risk youth. <br />May conduct statistical research. <br />Provide community outreach and training programs; present community <br />education programs on issues associated with delinquent youth such <br />as community team meetings. <br />May assist in the selection, training and supervision of other <br />program staff and volunteers. <br />May be required to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends. <br />Performs related duties as assigned. <br />QUALIFICATIONS <br />Knowledge of: <br />Principles, practices and objectives of program development <br />and implementation. <br />Basic principles and practices of research and data analysis. <br />Basic principles and practices of supervision and training. <br />Basic principles and practices of public relations. <br />Community recreation, social, and cultural resources. <br />Modern office methods, practices, procedures and equipment. <br />Youth diversion activities and programs for Colton youth. <br />Safe work practices. <br />Ability to: <br />Develop, coordinate and implement community service programs, <br />services and recreational activities. <br />Work independently in the absence of direct supervision. <br />Supervise, train, and evaluate staff and volunteers. <br />
