Mayor and Council Members <br />City Council Meeting of December 2. 1997 <br />Page 2 <br />SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF CITY ENGINEER COSTS FOR WATER, <br />WASTEWATER AND NPDES STORMWATER <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Revenues are received from developers for the cost of plan checking which includes <br />the City Engineer services. Therefore, the increase in revenues offset the expenditure <br />costs for the City Engineer. Sufficient funds in the Water (521-8100-8101-2350) and <br />Wastewater (522-8200-8200-2350) Professional Services accounts are available to pay <br />for the services of the City Engineer. The NPDES Stormwater Professional Services <br />account number 722-8200-8215-2350 also has sufficient funds to pay for the services <br />of the City Engineer. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council approve the increase to the City Engineer contract for <br />the Enterprise Funds as follows: <br />1.
