Leave position vacant and close windows when short staffed due to vacations <br />and sick leave uses. <br />3. Transfer division to the Utilities Department. <br />4. Privatize customer services. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />No general fund moneys are expended for these positions. Annual funding for the <br />full-time Customer Service Representative position is allocated from the Electric, <br />Water and Wastewater utilities in the amount of $34,341. <br />Hiring the two part-time employees and eliminating the vacant full-time <br />Representative position will save the enterprise funds an estimate amount of <br />$12,921 per year. The estimated annual cost for the two part-time positions being <br />requested is $21,420. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Eliminate one full-time Customer Service Representative position and authorize staff <br />to fill the vacancy with two part-time positions in the Finance -Customer Services <br />division for a saving to the Utilities Departments of $12,921 per year. <br />
