Ken <br />hopes City Councils will piiss Resolt:tW!.s and he believes we should individually learn. <br />about the bill and let our legislators know ol'our support. <br />The balance of the meeting consisted of the 97/98 budget proposals and I 'm reporting on <br />discussions of concerns for Colton centered around the following: <br />1.) Reche Canyon Drainage Study and status of actions in this area to relieve drainage problems <br />such as the Fern Avenue - Shadid Lane area <br />2.) Eucalyptus/Valley Blvd. Storm Drain (CSDP 3-4) use of the Rialto Channel to Santa Ana River <br />and <br />i <br />3.) CSDP 3-5 from Randall Basin soutnerld'b6v SBC Medical Center Relocation Project under <br />Interstate 10 and ultima:e!y to the Sanm Ama River. The meetings activity related to these <br />follows: <br />1.) Reche Canyon Drairtitge Study ;tnd related activities in this area, <br />The flood control staffhas been working on the drainage study as agreed upon and budgeted <br />by the FCD in the 96/97 fiscal yen r in the nn,uunt o!'S 20,800 and they went over budget spending <br />$25,000. This year they h ve buc'geted 520,000 and \vill prepare the secondary facility plan which I <br />told the con;mittee and sta:Y%%;e had an!;;i; t;d as part oftlhe scope from the very beginning. He said there were requests !'or drainage work, traffic work, traffic -signals and <br />other improvements and even -the t;_e c!`the County bidding to get the " volume advantage", etc. He <br />said he thot:gitc James King or somebody on the Colton Stafi`would send -follow-up itemized <br />
