Malik Dantala Freeman, City Manager <br />. t <br />FROM: Gracie Fernandez Harmon, Personnel Director <br />% - <br />SUBJECT Approval of Amendment to Sideletter to MOU with Colton Police <br />Management Assoc. <br />DATE; December 19, 1996 <br />BACKGROUND: At the direction of the City Council, representatives of the City and the Colton <br />Police Officers Management Association, met and agreed to the items outlined on the attached <br />Amendment to the Sideletter. <br />` DISCUSSIONIANALYSIS: The attached agreement results in reinstatement of benefits forfeited <br />in Fiscal Year 1995_96. City Council desired to treat employees of the Colton Police Management <br />Association the same as employees in units who had been targeted for furlough days for that fiscal <br />year who had part of those furlough days reinstated. <br />RECOMMENDATION: That City Council approve the attached Amendment to the <br />Sideletter and authorize staff to sign on behalf of the City. <br />ghdata/agenda/POi.
