R- 03-97 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />TO APPOINT SPECIFIC REPRESENTATIVES <br />TO THE INDEPENDENT CITIES RISK <br />MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY (ICRMA). <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a member of the Independent Cities Risk <br />Management Authority; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a member of the Liability and Workers' <br />Compensation Risk Management Committee; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Amendment to Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement for Insurance <br />and Risk Management Purposes dated July 1, 1991, and the Risk Management <br />Committee By -Laws require that an elected official be appointed by resolution to the <br />Governing Board of the Authority and an alternate (the alternate may be a staff <br />member) be appointed by resolution to act in the primary member's absence; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Amendment to Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement for insurance <br />and Risk Management Purposes dated July 1, 1991, and the Risk Management <br />Committee By -Laws require that a staff member be appointed as a voting member of <br />each -Risk Management Committee that the City is a member of and another <br />representative to act in the primary member's absence. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does resolve as <br />Section 1. That the City of Colton appoints the Honorable <br />Councilmember, to serve on the Governing Board of the Independent <br />ties Risk Management Authority. <br />Section 2. That the City of Colton appoints , City <br />Clerk to serve on the Governing Board of the 'Independent Cities Risk Management <br />Authority in the absence of the primary member noted in Section 1 above. <br />Section 3. That the City of Colton appoints , City Clerk, to <br />serve on the Liability and Workers' Compensation Risk Management Committees. <br />Section 4. That the City of Colton appoints Counciimember <br />to serve on the Liability and Workers' Compensation Risk Management <br />Committee in the absence of the primary member noted in Section 3 above. <br />January 07, 1997 <br />1 <br />Item No. 20 <br />
