In <br />the Amount of $16,445 <br />Date: January 8, 1997 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The City solicited competitive bids for the acquisition and installation of rubberized <br />protective surfacing for the Veteran's Park Playground. On December 11, 1996 the City <br />of Colton posted a "Notice Inviting Bids" for this project. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />Bid opening was held at 2:30 P.M., on January 6, 1997. Two bids were received. A Bid <br />Analysis is attached showing the prices quoted. The recommended vendor's price is <br />underlined. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Funds are approved and available in the FY 96/97 Budget, Community Development <br />Block Grant, Account Number 15-9323-93. <br />Randy Anstine, Neighborhood Services Director <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends bid award to Spectraturf, Inc., Corona, CA., in the amount of $16,445. <br />Item No. 10 <br />
