This <br />position is being underfilled with a Police Officer Trainee position. Attached is the job description <br />for the classification; the salary range is $2,289 - $2,782 per month. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: Recruitment for said position was conducted and an eligibility list <br />established. The candidate being referred for Council ratification meets the education and experience <br />requirements as specified in the job description. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: None. <br />FUNDING AVAILABILITY: This is a grant funded position in the fiscal year 1997-98 budget <br />funded as follows: Account No. 100-6070-6084-1010 (salary) and Account No. 100-6070-6084- <br />1100 (salary ated benefits). <br />Bernad O.
