CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For City Council Meeting of July 15, 1997 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR & CITY COUNCIL <br />APPROVAL: Gracie Fernandez Harmon, Acting City <br />FROM: Gracie Fernandez Harmon, Personnel Director <br />SUBJECT: Approval of Revised Job Description for the Full -Time Position of <br />Personnel Analyst I/II in the Personnel Department <br />DATE: July 9, 1997 <br />BACKGROUND: The position of Personnel Analyst II in the Personnel Department has been <br />vacant since October 1996. A recruitment was not initiated due to the pending reclassification <br />study. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: In order to initiate the recruitment process the attached revised job <br />description is submitted for City Council adoption. This is the job description developed as part <br />of the classification study. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: None <br />FUNDING AVAILABILITY: This position is funded in the FY 1997-98 budget as follows: <br />Account No. 100-6030-6030-1010 (salary) and Account No. 100-6030-6030-1100 (salary related <br />benefits). <br />Gracie Fernandez Harmon, Personnel Director <br />RECOMMENDATION: That City Council adopt the revised job description for Personnel <br />Analyst I/II. <br />ghdata/agenda/Pers Analyst.doc <br />r <br />Item No. 7 <br />
