Gaytan <br />Subject: Commission/Board Appointments <br />City Council Meeting of June 3, 1997 <br />As a follow-up to the May 27, 1997 meeting, the Colton Public Library Board of Trustees <br />considered filling two board positions effective July 1, 1997. The California Education <br />Code and Chapter 2.6 of the Municipal Code stipulate that library trustee positions are for <br />three year terms. These positions will, therefore, expire June 30, 2000. <br />Trustees Hilda Garcia and Rev. Robert K. Johnson have expressed a desire to continue <br />serving on the Library Board of Trustees.
