DUPLICATE <br />RESOLUTION NO.R-4:7 97 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON DECLARING THAT THE ACQUISITION BY <br />EMINENT DOMAIN OF FEE AND EASEMENT INTERESTS <br />IN AND OVER A.P.N. NOS. 162-281-04, 162-281- <br />34, 162-281-52, 162-281-66, 254-071-10, 254- <br />071-45, 254-071-46, 254-071-51, 254-071-57, <br />254-071-67, 254-071-68, IS NECESSARY FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF <br />ROADS FOR HOSPITAL PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton (the "City") proposes to <br />acquire by eminent domain certain fee and easement interests in <br />A.P.N. Nos. 162-281-04, 162-281-34, 162-281-52 (Schafer); 162-281- <br />66 (Vickers); 254-071-10 (Baumgarten/Pierson Trust); 254-071-45, <br />254-071-46 (Hill/Morrison Trusts); 254-071-51, 254-071-57, 254-071- <br />67, 254-071-68 (Transportation Terminal), hereafter collectively <br />referred to as the "Property," for the purpose of constructing, <br />operating and maintaining necessary roads on Meridian Avenue,—`, <br />Peppier Avenue and "C" Street< as part of the Hospital Project, <br />pursuant to the authority granted to it by section 37350.5 of the <br />California Government Code; and <br />WHEREAS, an Initial Study evaluating the potential <br />environmental impacts of the project was completed by the City <br />resulting in the adoption of a Negative Declaration; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1245.235 of the California <br />Code of Civil Procedure, the City scheduled a public hearing for <br />June 3, 1997, at 650 North La Cadena Drive, Colton, California, and <br />gave to each person whose Property is to be acquired and whose name <br />and address appeared on the last equalized county assessment roll, <br />notice and a reasonable opportunity to appear at said hearing and <br />be heard on the matters referred to in section 1240.030 of th("---- <br />California Code of Civil Procedure; and <br />1 <br />Tj� - <br />
