s <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF MARCH 18,1997 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR & CITY COUNCIL <br />APPROVAL: MALIK DANTALA FREEMAN, CITY MANAGE <br />FROM: GRACIE FERNANDEZ HARMON, PERSONNEL DIRECTOR <br />SUBJECT: RATIFICATION OF EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT TO THE FULL- <br />TIME POSITION OF POLICE DISPATCHER I IN THE POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT <br />DATE: MARCH 10, 1997 <br />BACKGROUND: There is one (1) Police Dispatcher I position vacant in the Police Department. <br />Attached is the job description for the classification; salary range is $1,748 - $2,126 per month. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: Recruitment for said position was conducted and an eligibility list <br />was established. The candidate being referred for Council ratification meets the education and <br />experience requirements as specified in the job description. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: None. <br />FUNDING AVAILABILITY: This is an approved grant funded position in the fiscal year <br />1996-97 budget funded as follows: Account No. 100-6070-6085-1010 (salary) and Account No. <br />100-6070-6085-1100 (salary related benefits). <br />Bernard O.
