CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF MARCH 18,1997 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR &CITY COUNCIL <br />APPROVAL: MALIK DANTALA FREEMAN, CITY MANAGE <br />r <br />FROM: GRACIE FERNANDEZ HARMON, PERSONNEL DIRECTOR <br />SUBJECT: RATIFICATION OF EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT TO THE PART- <br />TIME POSITION OF POLICE CADET IN THE POLICE OR <br />DATE: MARCH 12,1997 <br />BACKGROUND: There is one (1) vacant Police Cadet position in the Police Department. <br />Attached is the job description for the classification; the hourly rate is $5.25. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: Recruitment for said position was conducted and an eligibility list <br />established. The candidate being referred for Council ratification meets the education and <br />experience: requirements as specified in the job description. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: None. <br />FUNDING AVAILABILITY: This is an approved grant funded position in the fiscal year <br />1996-97 budget'fimded as follows: Account No. 100-6070-6086-1040 (salaries - temporary). <br />Bernard O.
