CITY OF COLTON MEMORANDUM Office of the Mayor and Council COUNCIL MEETING OF MARCH 18,1997 Date: February 18, 1997 To: The Honorable Mayor and Councilmembers From: Councilmember Betty L. Cook Subject: League of CA Cities' Appointment to the Committee of Administrative Services Inland Empire Division Appointment to the Committee of Employee Relations I, Betty L. Cook, have been appointed to the following positions: The Administrative Services Committee by Mayor Ronald Bates, President of the League of California Cities; The Committee of Employee Relations by the President of the Inland Empire Division League of California Cities. The Committees are two of eight Policy Committees of the League. Committee members provide statewide representation and leadership to city officials at all levels. My membership and participation will give me the opportunity to effectively represent the League of California j Cities and the Inland Empire Division of the League. The Committees will meet five times throughout the year, including the annual League of Conference, at one -day meetings. With the consensus of the Council, I will be attending a workshop in San Francisco March 20 - 21, 1997. The participation and support of the Committee members are imperative to the proper function of the League.
