R-44-97 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA <br />REVISING CUSTOMER SERVICE POLICY NUMBERS 7 AND 25 ESTABLISHING A <br />CHARGE FOR ELECTRIC DATA WHICH MAY BE REQUESTED BY INDUSTRIAL <br />CUSTOMERS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a general law city, duly organized and existing under <br />the laws of the State, of California and situated In the County of San Bernardino; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton has jurisdiction over the <br />implementation of rules and rates for the Electric Utility as propounded in the Customer <br />Service Policy; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Electric Utility has proposed changes to Customer Service Policy <br />Numbers 7 and 25 to include fees for staff reports requested from customers and prepared <br />using data gathered from electric meters: and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council must approve any changes in the Customer Service <br />Policy prior to the implementation of any proposed changes. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Colton City Council finds that it would be <br />appropriate to adopt the changes to the Customer Service Policy Numbers 7 and 25 as <br />proposed in Exhibit "A attached and made a part hereof to become effective <br />immediately. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 20th day of May, 1997. <br />ATTEST: <br />Carolina Barrera, City Clerk <br />Karl Gaytan, Mayor <br />
