Sem <br />Subject: Commission Appointments - District 5 <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF NOVEMBER 4, 1997 <br />Mr. Mike Owens; Code ` Enforcement Housing Advisory and Appeals Board Member <br />representing District 5, has submitted his resignation. During his term, Board Member Mike <br />Owens provided distinguished and commendable service to our community. The Colton City <br />Council graciously accepts his resignation and express their high regard for all his dedicated <br />efforts. <br />Due to the vacancy created in the Code Enforcement Housing Advisory and Appeals Board, Mr. <br />Mark Williams has expressed a desire to serve on this Board. Mr. Williams' appointment is <br />highly recommended. Accordingly, I hereby appoint Mr. Mark Williams to assume his position <br />effective immediately. This term will expire December 2000. I respectfully request your <br />consideration and concurrence on this appointment.
