Cook, <br />Subject: Use and Refurbishing of the Jitney <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF NOVEMBER 18. <br />The Jitney is a custom made 1922 Ford Model T that was donated to the City of Colton by (Jim) <br />L.J. Snow Ford. The Jitney—also referred to as an "Open Air Bus" -is currently stationed at <br />Fire Station No. 2. This item is being presented to Council due to the recent interest regarding <br />the possible use of our Jitney for various functions. I ask for your consideration and <br />concurrence in directing staff to refurbish our Jitney and possibly make it available for various <br />functions throughout the year.
