R -G,- J6 <br />2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />3 DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CAUSE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN <br />IMPROVEMENTS PURSUANT OT THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 5870 ET <br />4 SEQ., OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF <br />CALIFORNIA. <br />5 (CHAPTER 27 DISTRICT NUMBER 96-1) <br />6 <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AS <br />7 <br />FOLLOWS: <br />8 <br />9 Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby find, <br />10 determine and declare as follows: <br />11 (a) That a petition has been received from the property owners <br />-12- representing more than sixty percent (60%) of the frontage <br />13 in the area requesting the construction of a curb and <br />14 gutter along the south side of Agua Mansa between Rancho <br />15 Avenue and 5th Street. <br />16 (b) That it is the intention of City Council to cause said improvements <br />17 to be constructed, at the sole expense of the owners of <br />18 properties in and along said above described area, pursuant to <br />19 <br />Section 5870, et. seq., of the Streets and Highways Code of the <br />20 <br />State of California. <br />21 <br />Section 2. That the Superintendent of Streets is hereby instructed to mail <br />22 <br />23 and post notices to construct said improvements, as required by <br />24 law. <br />25 Section 3. That pursuant to said Section 5870, et. seq., the City Council <br />26 does hereby declare that on the 6th day of February 1996 in the <br />27 Council Chambers, 650 N.
