CITY OF COLTON <br />COMMUNITY CHILD CARE SITE SUPERVISOR <br />DEFINITION: <br />Under general supervision of the Community Child Care Manager, to manage an extended day <br />child care program for school age children at schools in the Colton Joint Unified School District. <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: <br />Manage the daily operations of a licensed child care facility. <br />Plan and execute an age-appropriate curriculum that enriches the latchkey child's academic skills, <br />linguistic abilities, cultural and recreational experiences. <br />Supervise teachers and recreation leaders, volunteers, and other assigned staff. <br />Maintain proper documentation in accordance with State licensing requirements and State <br />Department of Education requirements. <br />Maintain documentation on program quality in accordance with State Department of Education <br />instruments on program quality and review. <br />Maintain documentation needed for State Department of Education fiscal reports. <br />Operate the site in an efficient and safe manner. <br />Interact with and support clients on a daily basis; prepare written reports and other <br />communications as required. <br />Plan weekly staff meetings for site staff, attend in-service, parent and staff meetings as required. <br />Provide necessary coordination with the Manager and City of Colton staff, including appropriate <br />community groups and organizations. <br />Establish and maintain effective working relationships with school site administrators, teachers, <br />staff, and district personnel. <br />Performs related duties as assigned. <br />rT - <br />
