CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For City Council Meeting of APRIL 7. 1998 <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />The CFD 89-1 Assessment District Construction Fund has Zbal 950. An additional $5,711 is <br />required ompl this project. <br />Jon Hutton, Public Works Director ,Assistant City Manager <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />• Staff recommends that City Council approve Award of Contract for the CFD 89-1 Cooley Drive and <br />Washington Street Landscape Medians Project to Sean Malek Engineering & Construction, Inc. for the <br />Contract Bid Amount of $45,841. <br />• Staff recommends that $48,950 be appropriated from the CFD 89-1 Assessment District Construction <br />Fund. <br />• Staff recommends that an additional $5,711 be appropriated to complete the funding for this project as <br />follows: $2,000 from the Landscape Lighting Maintenance District and $3,711 from the Gas Tax Fund. <br />• Staff recommends City Council waive the Water Utility Capital Improvement Fee in the amount of $5,200. <br />JCH/dst <br />Attachments: Exhibit "A" <br />Exhibit "B" <br />Page 2 of 2 Item No. <br />
