All of these cases have been adjudicated and the maney has <br />not been claimedl. <br />DISCUSSION/�iIYALYSiS: To maintain the integrity of the Police Department Evidence and Property <br />Systern, an audit was oonductecl of property stored within the police evidence system, This aurlit resulted <br />in a procedural cha�ge in which a bank account was establishetl for all funds ta.ken as found praperty ar <br />evidence in police investigations. (The system was previously in place for asset seizure funds). Upon <br />degosit o€ cash pre�iously stvred in the police department safe, $20,433.0() hacl not been claimed by <br />persons involved eitlier as victims or suspe�ts in police i�vestigations.
