Page 2 <br />City Council Meeting of April 21, 1998 <br />Sewer Connection Fees <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />Based on the existing rules, Staff has no flexibility in determining what the fee should be. Their charge <br />has to be assessed in the stated amount. This proposal will not alter the amount due by the customer. <br />The only change will be to the method in which it is collected. <br />FINANCIAL <br />There will be no financial impact as a result of implementing this proposal other than the timing of the <br />receipt of the connection fees. This delay will not impact the operation or ability of the wastewater <br />treatment plant to process the additional flow from the customer. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS <br />None. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />That the Colton City Council approve the staff proposal to modify the collection method of the sewer <br />connection fees for a proposed laundry at 371 S. La Cadena Drive. <br />
