CITY OF COLTON <br />Community Child Care Teacher - Cont'd <br />Page 2 <br />QUALIFICATIONS <br />Education: <br />High School Diploma or equivalent. Twelve (12) semester units or equivalent quarter <br />units in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, recreation and/or elementary <br />education from an accredited college or university. <br />Childrens' Center Permit desirable. <br />Experience: <br />Six (6) months paid experience as a Teacher in a licensed child care facility. <br />Skill and Abilities: <br />Must possess excellent skills in teaching, leadership, communications, and motivation. <br />Culturally sensitive to the needs and interests of minority families. <br />Bilingual (Spanish/English) abilities desirable. <br />APPROVED BY COUNCIL: July 5, 1995 <br />
