CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />rUlc I:UUNUiL MEETiNG OF (MAY 19, 1998) <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR & CITY COUNCIL <br />APPROVAL: HENRY GARCIA CITY MANAG <br />FROM: MICHAEL WILLIAMS, CITY TREASURER Mj'xj <br />(SUBJECT: ANNUAL APPROVAL OF CITY'S INVESTMENT POLICY <br />DATE: MAY 12, 1998 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The California Government Code (53646) requires that the the City Council annual review <br />and approve the City's Investment Policy at a public meeting. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />There have been no changes to the Government Code related to investments or changes to <br />the City that would require a modification to the City's existing Investment Policy. The <br />Policy presented is exactly the same as last year. <br />ALTERNATIVES: <br />There are no alternatives other than request changes to the policy presented. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Approve the Treasurer's recommended Investment Policy <br />Item # 10 <br />
