CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of November 17, 1998 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City ouncil <br />APPROVAL: Henry Garcia, City Manag <br />FROM: John C. Hutton, Public Works Direct <br />SUBJECT: Final acceptance of Tract 15165 (Young Homes, Meridian <br />Avenue at Visconti Drive) and authorization to release <br />Performance Bonds upon receipt of 10% Maintenance Bonds. <br />DATE: November 5, 1998 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Tract 15165 is a 14 acre residential development, located on the easterly side of Meridian <br />Avenue at Visconti Drive. The development consists of 55 single family residential lots. This <br />tract was constructed by Young Homes. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />All conditions of approval and off-site improvements have been completed. The Engineer of <br />record has installed the required survey monumentation and submitted the tie notes for Public <br />Works files. The Developer is requesting final acceptance of the infrastructure of this tract and <br />to start the one year material guarantee maintenance period <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />�o <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council accept Tract 15165 as 100% complete and authorize the <br />release of the street improvement bonds upon receipt of the 10% maintenance bonds. <br />Report prepared by James R.
