CITY OF COLTON <br />FACILITY MONITOR <br />DESCRIPTION <br />Under general supervision, answer community center telephones. Provide general <br />information and/or route calls to the appropriate individual(s). Receive the public <br />and handle routine business or refer to appropriate individual. Perform routine <br />unskilled tasks in the maintenance of community center facilities. Maintain order <br />and ensure community center facilities are safe and usable by the general public. <br />DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - May include, but are not limited to, the <br />following: <br />Answer telephones, provide general information and/or route calls to the appropriate <br />individual(s). <br />the public and handle routine business or refer to appropriate individual. <br />Pei, — -n routine unskilled tasks in the maintenance of community center facilities. <br />Clean spills and remove safety hazards in community center facilities. <br />Assist in the maintenance of a clean and orderly environment. <br />Maintain order and ensure community center facilities are safe and usable by the <br />general public; assist in operating the community center facilities in an efficient and <br />safe manner. <br />Interact with the public on a daily basis. <br />Estabiish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the <br />course of work. <br />Perform other related duties as required. <br />QUALIFICATIONS <br />Knowledge of: <br />Telephone etiquette. <br />
