CLARKE, UTILITY DIRECTOR -k-- <br />SUBJECT: ACCEPTANCE OF THE RIALTO RESERVOIR #2 REHABILITATION <br />PROJECT 100% COMPLETE, AND AUTHORIZE THE RECORDATION <br />OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION <br />DATE: SEPTEMBER 16, 1998 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />At the April 7, 1998 Council meeting, Council awarded a contract to Apex Painting for <br />the rehabilitation of Rialto Reservoir No. 2. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />All work has been completed, as per the bid specifications and State Department of <br />Health Services requirements. The contractor has requested final acceptance of the <br />project, and filing of the Notice of Completion. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />None, the funds for the project have <br />encumbered in the FY97-98 Water Budget. <br />already been approved by Council and <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council accept the Rialto Reservoir #2 Rehabilitation Project as <br />100% complete and authorize the Utility Director to file the Notice of Completion. <br />Report Prepared By: Lorraine June <br />Item # 10 <br />
