R-86-98 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, <br />ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT OF PORTION OF <br />INTERSECTION OF 6TH AND "K" STREET. <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Colton as follows: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Colton having elected to proceed <br />under the provisions of Section 8300 et seg. Of the Streets and Highway Code of the <br />State of California, and having held a public hearing has provided therein, hereby <br />finds from all the evidence submitted that all that portion of the intersection of 6`h and <br />"K" street. The map of the town of Colton, recorded in book 9 page 37 of maps in the <br />Office of said County, records of San Bernardino County, California described as <br />Follows: <br />The intersection of said Sixth Street and "K" street is unnecessary for <br />present or prospective public street purposes and the public interest and <br />convenience requires the closing of that portion of said street, with the City reserving <br />all utility easements. <br />Section 2. Accordingly, the City Council of the City of Colton hereby orders the <br />vacation of the intersection of Sixth Street and "K" Street. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED, this _ day of 1998. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA P.
