Gaytan <br />on September 19, 24, and October 3, 10, 17, 24, 1998 <br />Date: September 9, 1998 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Friends of Karl E. Gaytan have requested the use of Fleming Park and its bandshell <br />for a series of community events to be held on the following Saturdays: September 19, 24, <br />October 3, 10, 17 and 24, 1998, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />This is a series of community events. This program is for benefit of the community with <br />all expenses paid by officeholder's account (which is for this type of activity). It is <br />sponsored by the Gaytan family with some youth leagues and police/fire cadets benefiting <br />from booth opportunity. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that City Council approve the request by Friends of Karl E.
