R-65-99 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />C,ALIFORNIA ORDERING THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF ASSESSMENTS <br />FOR THE COLTON LANDSCAPE AND LIGHTING MAINTENANCE <br />A,SSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1, FISCAL YEAR 1999/2000. <br />The City Council of the City of Colton, California does resolve as follows: <br />VIPHEREAS, the City Council has by previous Resolutions initiated proceedings for the D <br />declared ats intention to levy assessments for Fiscal Year 1999/2000, and approved the Engi. <br />Annual Levy Report (hereinafter referred to as the "Report") that describes the assessments agains <br />parcels o� land within the Colton Landscape and Lighting Maintenance Assessment District No. 1 <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "DistricY') for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, 1999, and ending Jun <br />30, 2000, pursuant to the provisions of the Landscaping andtightingAct of 1972, Part 2 of Division 15 0 <br />the California Streets and Highways Code, commencing with Section 22500 (hereinafter referred to a <br />the "AcY') 4o pay for the maintenance and services of all improvements and facilities related thereto; and, <br />WHEREAS, a Report has been prepared and filed with the City Clerk, and the City Clerk ha <br />presented to the City Council said Report in connection with the proposed levy and collection o <br />assessments upon eligible parcels of land within the District and the City Councif did by previou <br />Resolutior� approve such Report; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to levy and collect assessments against parcels of lan <br />within the District for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, 1999, and ending June 30, 2000, to pay for th <br />maintenance and services of al! improvements and facilities related thereto. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED BY THE CIT <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, FOR COLTON LANDSCAPE AND LIGHTIN <br />MAINTEN,ANCE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1, AS FOLLOWS: <br />S�ction '1.
