R-74-99 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON RECLASSIFYING FOUR EMPLOYEE <br />POSITIONS AND CHANGING THE JOB FAMILIES OF <br />TWO EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATIONS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton Human Resource Department <br />has completed studies regarding possible reclassification of <br />certain employee positions; and <br />WHEREAS, reclassification of certain employee positions <br />was found to be appropriate, along with changes to the job <br />families of certain employee classifications, based on <br />documentation presented in the studies; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to approve the <br />reclassifications and changes as indicated by the Human <br />Resource Department studies. <br />BE IT NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: The classification of Secretary shall be <br />changed to Senior Office specialist. <br />SECTION 2: The classification of Sewer Line Maintenance <br />Worker in Training shall be changed to Sewer Line Maintenance <br />Worker I. <br />SECTION 3: The classification of Substation Operation <br />Supervisor shall be changed to Substation Superintendent. <br />SECTION 4: The classification of Finance Assistant shall <br />be changed to Assistant Finance Director. <br />09/10/99 <br />Reclassification job family 080399 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
