According to the proposal,
the City wants to construct an 8 -foot overhang to the recently completed backstop. The original
project scope included the construction of ball field backstop, and chain link fencing. After our
review of the proposal, we found that the construction of an 8 -foot overhang does not represent a
significant change or addition to the original scope of work. Therefore, the creation of a new
Phase II project would not be required. However, we concluded that the best approach to your
request is to have the City send us a letter requesting a transfer of $8,250 from the City
contingency to the existing project for the 8 -foot overhang. When we receive your request to
reprogram the funds, we will complete and send to you the revised Attachments A & B.
Should you have any questions, please call me at (909) 388-0969 or Norm Buckner, ECD
Analyst, at (909) 388-0965.
Sincerely,
DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
THOMAS R.
