K-101-99 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND DELEGATING <br />AUTHORITY TO THE UTILITY DIRECTOR TO ORDER ACTIONS <br />REQUIRED TO REPAIR WELL NO. 23 <br />WHEREAS, Section 22050 of the State Public Contract Code <br />governs emergency contracting procedures applicable to the City of Colton. <br />WHEREAS, the Colton City Council finds emergency conditions <br />existed at Well No. 23 to insure adequate water and fire flow protection to <br />the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council <br />resolves as follows: <br />1. Thomas K. Clarke, Utility Director, is delegated the authority <br />to order materials and labor to repair Well No. 23 as <br />authorized by Section 22050 of the Public Contract Code <br />to respond to the emergencies. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day of December, <br />1999. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA BARRERA <br />City Clerk <br />KARL E.
