LaCadena
Colton, CA 92324
L-- C " ✓d
E
RE: 1999 Redlands Bicycle Classic
Dear Mr. Garcia:
Once again, the Redlands Bicycle Classic is staging a point-to-point race. The race will commence
in Redlands and pass through Colton before entering Riverside and continuing on to Lake .Matthews,
Lake Perris and eventually to Oak Glen. For your reference, I am enclosing last year's street -by -street
race route description.
As in past years, this race uses a "rolling enclosure" which is contained by fifteen (15) California
Highway Patrol motorcycle units. The racers should still be in a pack as they go through Colton, thus
minimizing the disruption of traffic.
The race is scheduled for Friday, March 5, 1999. If required, please forward to me a Ac
Event. Application at 1261 Travis Blvd., Suite 350, Fairfield. CA 94533. (Please do not forward any mail
to the Post Office box for the Bicycle Classic or to the Redlands office as it will only delay receipt.) If
such an application is required, we are hopeful permission will be granted and, because we are a non-profit
organization, any filing fees will be waived.
Please call with any questions you may have at (707) 425-1250. Thank you for your courtesy and
cooperation.
Very. truly yours,
REDLANDS BICYCLE CLASSIC
