Garci <br />Subject: National League of Cities — Congressional City Conference, <br />Washington, D.C., March 5-9,1999 <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF FEBRUARY 2,1999 <br />Councilmember Betty Cook has been appointment to serve as a Member of the Finance, <br />Administration and Intergovernmental Relations Policy Committees for the National League of <br />Cities (see attached). <br />As a Policy Committee Member, Betty L. Cook shall assist in developing NLC <br />recommendations and reactions to congressional and administrative initiatives. The NLC is also <br />requesting her attendance at the upcoming Congressional City Conference, to be held in <br />Washington, DC, March 5-9, 1999. <br />Financial Impact: The following travel costs will be paid through the City Council Travel & <br />Meeting Account # 100-6000-6000-2280. <br />Travel Expenditures <br />Councilmember Betty L.
