Attached is the job description of the <br />classification; the salary rate is $9.7385 per hour. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: This position has been vacant for one month and needs to be filled to <br />maintain high quality of customer service. A contract employee is currently filling the position. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: Funding availability for this general fund position in fiscal year <br />98/99 budget is funded as follows: Account No. 100-6040-6042-1040 (p/t salary) and Account No. <br />100-6040-6042-1100 (salary and related benefits). <br />EXPECTED FILL DATE: February 1999. <br />RECOMMENDATION: That City Council approve the recruitment and ratification of the <br />employee appointment to the position of Part Time Customer Service Representative I as <br />recommended by the Finance Assistant. <br />Attachment: Job Description <br />Prepared by: Dilu de Alwis <br />Item # 7 <br />
