HUTTON, PUBLIC WORKS[ IRECTO <br />i# <br />SUBJECT: APPROVE RESOLUTION TO VACATE STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY OF A PORTION <br />OF HIGHLAND AVENUE WESTERLY OF EIGH-OSTREET, BETWEEN PLEASANT <br />VIEW AVENUE AND CITRUS AVENUE AND APPROVE RESOLUTION OF <br />INTENT <br />DATE: January 11, 1999 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On January 5, 1999, Council set a Public Hearing to hear protests to the vacation of Highland <br />Avenue westerly of Eighth Street, between Pleasant View Avenue and Citrus Avenue, as per <br />attached Resolution. <br />SUMMARY: <br />The Jon Lin Company, property owner of land on both sides of Highland Avenue is requesting <br />the vacation for development purposes.
