He stated that upon inspection of the light <br />standard that fell, it was rusted from inside and this condition would have been impossible to have <br />noticed upon visual inspection. He states that the wind was the principal cause of the light standard <br />falling and he also indicated that there was no prior notice to the City regarding the condition of the <br />light standard. <br />Accordingly, by copy of this correspondence to the City, it is our recommendation that this claim <br />be rejected in its entirety. <br />Please feel free to contact the undersigned if you have any questions. <br />Sincerely, <br />WARD NORTH AMERICA, INC. <br />.
