CITY OF COLTON <br />COMMUNITY CHILD CARE TEACHER'S AIDE <br />PAGE 2 <br />Knowledge of, <br />Recreation and social needs of school age children. <br />Objectives and philosophy of a child development program. <br />AblUty to: <br />Communicate clearly both orally and in writing. <br />Be self motivated and able to initiate activities. <br />Bilingual (Spanish/English) abilities desirable. <br />Exper*ence and Education: <br />Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required <br />knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and <br />abilities would be: <br />Experience: <br />A minimum of one year in a child development facility. <br />Education: <br />High school diploma or equivalent. <br />A minimum of six Early Childhood Education Units from an accredited college or <br />university is required.
