R-52-99 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA APPROVING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A DEPOSIT <br />ACCOUNT WITH BANK OF AMERICA FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />PAYING WORKERS' COMPENSATION CLAIMS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton (the "City" ) has entered into a new agreement for <br />administration of its' Workers' Compensation claims with Tristar Risk Management and as a <br />part of that agreement needs to establish an account to pay those claims in a timely manner. <br />WHEREAS, the separate account is necessary for the timely payment of Workers' <br />Compensation claims and for following good accounting policies and procedures with regard <br />to internal controls. <br />BE IT NOW THEREFORE RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The above recitals set forth hereinabove are true and correct in all respects. <br />2. The Mayor, City Manager and the City Treasurer and any and all other officers <br />of the City or such other persons designated by the City Manager are hereby <br />directed, for and on behalf of the City, to do any and all things and take any <br />and all actions deemed necessary or advisable in order to effect the purposes <br />of this Resolution. <br />3. The findings and determinations herein shall be final and conclusive.
