Dance Permit for "Rocks Club" <br />For Council Meeting of March 16, 1999 <br />Page 2 <br />The owners of the "Rocks Club" have satisfied all of the concerns that became modified <br />conditions of approval. Those conditions addressed were: <br />• Parking capacity. <br />• Security issues. <br />• Fiscal impacts agreement. <br />• Occupancy limits. <br />• Design review and building permits. <br />Staff informed the applicants that their request for a dance permit would be reviewed <br />and considered separately by the Council. Additionally, Staff informed the applicants <br />that their request would only be considered after they satisfied all the concerns of Staff <br />and the Planning Commission, which they have. <br />ALTERNATIVE: <br />Not to approve the application. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />The amount of revenue projected to be generated from sales tax and business license <br />tax is unknown at this time. <br />Additionally, the applicant has agreed to reimburse the City for any extraordinary costs <br />that the City may accrue in enforcing the conditions of approval and/or providing public <br />safe"rvices at thejnsite. <br />bAVID R.
