R-95-99 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO AN AGREEMENT AND <br />AUTHORIZING OTHER ACTIONS RELATING TO THE <br />AGREEMENT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />CAL -CARD PURCHASE CARD PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton (the "City") has determined <br />that it is in the best interest of the City to enter into an Agreement ("Master Service <br />Agreement DGS MSA 5 -96 -CC -01") relating to the participation in the State of <br />California Cal -Card Purchase Card Program, and <br />WHEREAS, the Agreement provides generally for (i) purchase by the City of <br />supplies and services using the Cal -Card Purchase Card from I.M.P.A.C. Government <br />Services, and (ii) the payment by the City to I.M.P.A.C. Government Services; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to participate in the program, it is necessary that the City <br />enter into the Agreement and that certain other actions be authorized and taken; and <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to authorize the participation in the Cal -Card <br />Program upon the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON, as follows: <br />Section 1. Approval of Agreement. The Agreement is hereby approved. <br />The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute, attest and deliver said <br />Agreement for, in the name of, and on behalf of the City in the form hereby approved. <br />Section 2. Approval to Designate the Program Coordinator: The Finance <br />Director for the City of Colton is hereby designated as the Program Coordinator for the <br />1 <br />
