CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For the Council Meeting of October 5, 1999 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor & City Council <br />APPROVAL: Henry Garcia, City Manager4?�'Q - <br />FROM: Dennis Morris, Human Resource Director,�P = <br />Adrian Reynosa, Acting Recreation Services Manager <br />SUBJECT: Use Of Fleming Park & Band Shell By <br />Living Springs Fellowship, For A Concert <br />Saturday, October 16, 1999 12:00 p.m. To 8:00 p.m. <br />DATE: September 28, 1999 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />A Christian Group from San Bernardino will be holding a concert benefiting the youth of <br />our community, to support gang prevention. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Since the park is maintained by the Neighborhood Services Division, there will be <br />minimal impact on staff hours. The impact to the General Fund, Account NO. 100-6200- <br />6205-1050, for the 1999/2000 budget�will cover any staff time expended. <br />CUSTOMER SERVICE IMPACT: <br />The Beautiful setting of Fleming Park will provide a great Atmosphere for this function. <br />Expected attendance is 100 adults, 60 children. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval of the request by Livingsprings Fellowship for the use of <br />Fleming Park & Band shell on Saturday, October 16, 1999, benefiting youth gangs by <br />providing alternative to violence.
