"EXHIBIT An NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON REGARDING THE ISSUANCE BY THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR THE CITY OF COLTON OF ITS MOUNT VERNON CORRIDOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT 1999 TAX ALLOCATION BONDS Interested parties please take notice that on September 7, 1999, a public hearing will be held by the City Council of the City of Colton (the "City'), in the Council Chambers located at 650 North La Cadena Drive, Colton, California, 92324, commencing at 6:00 p.m. or later with respect to the issuance by the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton of its Mount Vernon Corridor Redevelopment Project 1999 Tax Allocation Bonds in an aggregate principal amount of not to exceed $5,500,000 (the "Bonds") pursuant to the California Community Redevelopment Law. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of such Bonds, if any are issued, in an amount of up to $2,000,000 are intended to be used to finance the acquisition by a qualifying nonprofit corporation or organization (the "Nonprofit User") that is an exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the "Tax Code") of up to 100 spaces in the Rancho Mediterrania Mobile Home Park Estates owned by the Agency and located at 700 East Washington Boulevard in the City of Colton (the "Project"). This notice is intended to comply with the public notice requirements of Section 147(f) of the Tax Code. Any person may appear at the hearing and express his or her views regarding the Project and the issuance by the Agency of the Bonds and the use of a portion of the proceeds thereof by the Agency to loan to the Nonprofit User to finance the Project. In addition, written comments may be submitted at any time prior to the hearing to Carolina Barrera, City Clerk, 650 North La Cadena Drive, Colton, California 92324.
