Vernon Corridor <br />Project - Ordinance No. 0-17-99 and the West Valley Project and <br />the First Amendment to the West Valley Project Ordinance No. <br />0-18-99. <br />DATE: September 13,1999 <br />Backciround <br />At the September 7, 1999 City Council meeting, the City Council considered and approved the first <br />reading of Ordinance No. 0-17-99 and 0-18-99, to amend certain time limitations contained in the <br />Mr. Vernon and West Valley Redevelopment Plans to conform with those time limitations allowed <br />by Redevelopment Law (AB 1290). <br />Recommendation <br />1. Waive full reading and approve second reading of the attached Ordinances by title as follows <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0-17-99 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA AMENDING CERTAIN TIME <br />LIMITATIONS WITH RESPECT TO THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE MT. <br />VERNON CORRIDOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0-18-99 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA AMENDING CERTAIN TIME <br />LIMITATIONS WITH RESPECT TO THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE WEST <br />VALLEY REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT. <br />Attachments: <br />Ordinance(s) <br />\\RDA—SERVER\SHARERDA\Greg\Project Area Extensions 092199.doc <br />Item #2 <br />
