Committee members assist in developing NLC recommendations and reactions to Congressional and Administrative initiatives. You have been appointed by the League of California Cities to NLC's Finance, Administration & Intergovernmental Relations Policy Committee. As an NLC policy committee member you are invited to attend, at your city's expense, policy committee meetings held during the Congressional City Conference in Washington, D.C4M4ch 1014; 2000, and also at the Congress of Cities in December. Conference Registration: If you have not already received a brochure from NLC (copy enclosed), please note that the advance registration deadline for the Congressional City Conference (March 10-14) is February 4, 2000. Housing Reservations: Reservations are also due on February 4, 2000. Delegates who register after February 4, .2000 will need to make their own hotel reservations.
