R-04-00 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON ACCEPTING AN ADDITIOI <br />$30,000 IN "STATE LIBRARY GRANT FUNDS" AND TO AMEND THE ADOPTED BUDGET FOR <br />1999/2000. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton is dedicated to building a more literate <br />community; and <br />WHEREAS, the Governor and State Legislature approved additional funding for the "State <br />Library Grant Fund" program; and <br />WHEREAS, a continuing need exists to maintain and upgrade the library's automated book <br />checkout system and its facilities and services. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Colton accept an <br />additional $30,000 in "State Library Grand Funds: and to amend the adopted budget for F7 <br />1999/2000. <br />Library Grant Rev. "State Library Fund" 211-5772 Increase by $30,000 <br />Library Grant Expend. "State Library Fund" 211-7100-7104-2302 Library Materials - <br />Increase by $30,000. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 4th Day of January 2000. <br />ATTEST: <br />KARL E.
